Hard work, determination, and trial and error tell the story of Gestalt Tile. It’s the Montana way.
Born in the Paradise Valley, I’ve never strayed from the idea that there’s nothing in life worth anything was easy to get. To make your mark, you have to fight hard and never compromise. There is honor to be found in working your hands to the bone to create a beautiful work of art. I was always taught to do unto others as I would have them do unto me, and that philosophy has been my driving force all my life. Whether I’m installing a custom shower, or just holding the door open for someone, I meet each interaction as a test to prove that I still live up to that principle. I complete each project as if it was tile going in my own home. As if I was aiming to impress the most fastidious of critics. For why would I accept anything short of excellence?
Some things I learned the hard way. By “breaking a few eggs”, as they say. But the learning was done with eyes on the ultimate goal: mastery and self-discovery. It’s a journey that is unquestionably aided by the appreciation of where I come from. Montana isn’t just limitless in it’s mystifying beauty. It’s also limitless in it’s hard-taught lessons. A mountain isn’t tamed, and a river isn’t crossed through brute force alone. Meticulous is the ideal approach to both nature and profession. And through the sharp crags and coursing waters, humility is born.
Over the years, such humility has brought me to learn rigorous craft, the value of strong communication, and the satisfaction of knowing a job was done with a conviction to the utmost of exceptionalism. Allow me to exert the fruits of my labors, and serve you well.
